Position: Finance & Accounting Manager
Section: Finance & Accounting
Report to: Financial Controller
Responsible for: Overseeing Finance & Accounting tasks and teams and reporting directly to Financial Controller.
Department: Finance & Accounting

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all accounting transactions are in compliance with CIFRS and other relevant Laws on Accounting and Taxation
  • Manage daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, tax-related duties, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned
  • Ensure financial reports and other reports required are accurate and timeliness
  • Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to the top management.
  • Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk
  • Work closely and manage the teams to ensure that all tax filings required by laws and regulations are performed accurately and timeliness, solving any tax-related issues
  • Cash flow preparation and forecasting
  • Annual Budget preparation, monitoring and analysis, and treasury management
  • Set goals and evaluate staff performance management system
  • Liaise with external auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Coordinate and correspond with other Departments to ensure smooth operation
  • Identify areas for improvement and keep continuous improvement
  • Provide appropriate training to Finance & Accounting teams and relevant Departments if necessary
  • Other tasks as assigned.

    Your Qualifications:

    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, ACCA, or equivalent
    • Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance & Accounting practice, 3 years of experience in a management role (Experience in the manufacturing/construction industry is a plus.)
    • Good in advanced MS Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Dynamic AX, and PowerPoint
    • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax, and regulation
    • Professional proficiency in English; and Chinese is a plus.
    • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
    • Good in professional judgment and skepticism
    • Good in financial analysis and reporting
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, organized work
    • Working cooperatively and being a team player with the ability to lead, develop and drive performance
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and multi-task under pressure
